The mission of the "Cyber-Physical Systems & Artificial Intelligence" team is to design, develop, and optimize Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to address complex challenges. We focus on integrating AI with embedded systems to transform the interactions between the physical and digital worlds.

Team head
Mohammed Kamal BENHAOUA, full professor at Mascara University, Head of the LABTEC-IA Laboratory. His current research activities include design-time and run-time optimization of NoC-based 2D and 3D systems, SNN, smart cities, precision agriculture, smart water quality monitoring, wastewater monitoring, water distribution monitoring, fertilizer and irrigation systems, IoT, CPS, embedded AI, real-time systems, with a special focus on autonomous vehicles and neuromorphic architecture.

Amine Dahane received Master's degree in Computer Systems and Networks from the University of Bechar in 2011. His Ph.D. degree, in 2017, in Electronics from the University of Sciences and Technology of Oran (USTO, Algeria) His main research interest includes wireless sensor networks, their security, routing and management, smart farming, machine learning, deep learning.He is currently a lecturer and researcher at the institute of sciences and applied techniques of the university of Oran 1.

Dr. Benameur RABIE has a Ph.D. in Cyber Security Systems and Networks, his rsearch interest includes : Artificial Intelligence, Information Security, Computer Communications (Networks), Algorithms.

Dr. Cherifa BOUDIA received her PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella, Algeria in 2020. Her research is focused on methods of e-learning for Java programming language; collaborative e-learning; blended learning, developing a collaborative platform for e-learning at the university of Oran 1 Ahmed Ben Bella. Now, she is an associate professor at the University Mustafa Stambouli of Mascara, developed a passion for ICT educational tool, and students’ assistance.

Pr. Yahyaoui khadidja is a full Professor at the University of Mascara. She received the Engineer degree in soft engineering and the M.Tech. degree in industrial computing from the Computer Science Department, Oran University, Oran, Algeria, in 2000 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Oran University in 2013. Her main research interests include optimization, artificial intelligence, Internet new architecture, and reconfigurable embedded bioadjust systems.
